July 4th

Yesterday was Logan's last first holiday! We were thankful the family we live with went out of town so we didn't have their kids to tend and could spend the whole day just the three of us. We visited Grandma and Grandpa Rasmussen and had a BBQ with Aunt Sheri and Uncle Peter. We left early thinking we would keep Logan on his schedule and get him in bed on time. We got him home, bathed, read to, sung to and prayed with and in bed by 845... and then he screamed until 915. By this time fireworks were starting to really light the sky, and his bedroom. I got him up just as the Watsons started fireworks in our backyard and we had the perfect view from our front door. We sat in the kitchen and Logan was amazed--not scared at all! He danced, and clapped and even signed for more! As the bigger ones started he crawled to the glass door and stood himself up and just watched in amazement. Fireworks are one of my favorite things, and looks like he will be like me in that sense! Here is the cute picture we got of him loving fireworks
