Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House

If anyone is living in or coming to visit Utah any time soon, please take an hour and go walk through the LDS Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Located in South Jordan this will be the 130th temple in the world, making the city of South Jordan the only temple in the world with two temples. Before the tour a 10 minute video is shown on the purpose of temples, and the work that is performed in them. You do not have to be a member of the church or even know much about it to experience this grand building. The open house runs Monday-Saturday through August first, with tours beginning every ten minutes from 8am-850pm. Tickets can be found on www.lds.org/reservations.
